I am a publicist, and I have worked mainly in B2B environments, helping commercial teams generate demand and sell complex solutions. A big part of my role involved translating technical ideas into clear, understandable messages, especially during client presentations. After all the marketing strategies and campaigns, everything often came down to a meeting where the solution had to be explained clearly, and that explanation usually depended on a presentation.

That is where I developed a strong connection with PowerPoint. I was responsible for turning complex information into presentations that people could understand easily, while also making them look professional and visually appealing. Over time, this became one of my strongest skills.

My experience with PowerPoint was not limited to presentations. Because marketing is a transversal area, I also worked closely with different teams such as HR, internal communications, and operations. This led me to design internal communications, visual documents, social media-style layouts, and even resumes.

At one point, I was creating many of these designs in Illustrator. However, teams frequently asked for editable versions. While Illustrator is a powerful tool, it is not accessible to everyone. Many teams simply needed something they could open, edit, and use without specialized design knowledge. That is when I started adapting my designs into PowerPoint.

At that time, the process was not as simple as it is today. It required exporting files, converting formats, and rebuilding elements to make them editable. Even though it was time-consuming, it allowed me to create professional designs in a tool that almost everyone already had access to.

That idea became the foundation of PPThemes.
